Overview

Designed for efficiency and flexibility, the nanoMediCO2™ capnograph module can be integrated into a wide range of host monitors and devices, including wearable applications. The technology automatically adjusts for changes in ambient temperature and barometric pressure, making it an excellent choice for engineering in-hospital, transport and at-home monitoring solutions. Powered by Microstream™ technology, the nanoMediCO2™ capnograph module provides etCO2, FiCO2, and respiration rate parameters with simple integration into existing platforms. It is backward-compatible with miniMediCO2™ OEM modules and microMediCO2™ OEM modules.

One-third less power, weight and volume.† The NanoMediCO2™ capnograph module is 4th Edition compliant. Reduced power requirements help meet the USB 2.0 industry standard. The module is engineered to promote longer battery life and provide:
 Measurements of etCO2, FiCO2 and respiration rate values and trends
 Clear, crisp waveforms and accurate respiratory rates
 A single, integrated spectroscopy sensor for use across the healthcare continuum
 CO2-specific infrared technology at a distinct wavelength
 A low sampling rate of 50 mL per minute to allow for the monitoring of a wide range of patients — from neonates to adults
 Measurements without impact from other gases (i.e., O2, N2O, He, or inhaled anesthetics)
 Moisture handling to help reduce complications caused by clogged sampling lines
